A Short Introduction to Female Body building

The 1970's was the start of female bodybuilding and the gain of competition. A recent competition added is figure bodybuilding, where participants are assessed on how toned the muscle is as opposed to how large they are. Without having extreme or excessive muscle mass and vascularity that bodybuilding can bring with it, figure body building is for women who want to compete in competitions. In a pageant style competition, contestants are judged from every angle within one or two rounds, depending upon the organization.

While women have been competing since the 70's, only recently did it evolve into figure bodybuilding. In judging the figure building includes the judging of contestants in categories of showing grace in performing, confidence and poise compared to others, while in individual walk and posing segment of the contests and different stages such as style, skin tone and symmetry during group comparative event. You'll notice that the competitors have very little body fat and good definition. They are females who can be any age, and they are segmented by height. Well-defined muscles without ripples or striations alone will get the attention of the Judges. A number plus a pose suit, which is a two piece swimsuit with many decorations and bright colors, are worn by the contestants to help with identification.

There are many organizations that coordinate figure bodybuilding events to promote the sport and increase communications among participants. Both the Figure International and Figure Olympia, considered specialized events, are IFBB-certified. While other organizations hold figure bodybuilding competitions, the rules vary from region to region. Bodybuilding's strong, loyal, fan base are striving towards a nationally recognized medium for displaying its competition. Constantly in conjunction with fitness and regular bodybuilding competitions, one or two mainstream sports networks have carried coverage of figure bodybuilding competitions.

The limited degree of sponsorship and cash prizes available to female competitors makes bodybuilding an unreliable source of income. Full-time professional positions are held by a great deal of contestants who entered the world of figure competition only after they came to love working out in their daily life. Female bodybuilders are faced with the additional distress of the public, and conventional opinions opposed to masculine women. Female bodybuilders often appear to be more masucline than normal because they have much more muscle mass than the average female.

I have a a passion for fitness and health and my name is Dewaldt Koekemoer. Natural bodybuilding is the way to go in my opinion. Though it's of great import to some people to be aesthetically pleasing, they sometimes don't recall that you must be healthy on the inside to be healthy on the outside.
